This is a large poplar bowl with some live edge cut from a tree taken out of a friend’s yard. The tree was dying so we had it taken out before it damaged anything. This bowl is sealed with a thick coat of resin to reinforce the softer poplar wood. This bowl is safe for food or it can be decorative.
