Unique hand turned wood bowl made from a Utah Maple tree.  A friend of mine living in the Bountiful, UT area had this tree removed.  It was sick and going to damage something if he didn’t have it cut down.   He called me to let me know he had a tree being cut down so I could grab a few pieces to make bowls.

This bowl has a little bit of the bark showing on one side of it.  The grain pattern is really pretty.  The wood cracked. So instead of throwing it away, I filled the cracks with black CA glue.  The black color of the CA glue really accentuates the maple grain and color.

The maple grain is eye catching in this medium sized bowl.  It is a statement piece for your table or shelves.  This unique hand turned wood bowl would be a great gift for whomever you are wanting to gift something one of a kind.
