I made this wooden home decor piece from a blank that came from my father in law’s collection.  He had collected many pieces of wood over the years that he was planning on turning.  Unfortunately, he did not get to make things from everything that he saved before he passed away.

This extra small Persimmon bowl is one of a kind with all of its color variation from grain patterns and spots left from the worms.  I also left remnants of the bark on two sides of the bowl.  This bowl is not food safe with unfilled holes that the worms left in the wood.  However, this bowl is an eye-catching wooden home decor piece.
